Worked perfectly for the past 7 years! I used it on my first smartphone and every one since (assuming the ringtone didn't automatically transfer). Having Rings Extended installed just adds another option for selecting a ringtone in your system settings, so you can even uninstall afterward it if you don't plan on changing ringtones often. It worked on my Pixel 3a XL despite the "This was made for an older version of Android" warning.

I guess because this app is old and the fact that its last update was like around 6 years ago, but like it still won't let me change the notification sound on my messages' app.

All of a sudden (as of this week, first week Dec, 2020), on a notification, the entire media file plays without the ability to stop it. Music player and podcast player, all video players play WHILE the notification/ringtone media plays.

Worked great on an older model of Samsung Galaxy. No longer works for S21, and hasn't been updated for eight years. Only reason it doesn't get one star is because I enjoyed it when it did work for older Samsung phones.
