Finally, peace and quiet. If your phone is rooted, this is the best app in the world for silencing spam calls and texts. I have my contacts whitelisted. All other numbers are killed before my phone even knows. Beautiful!

For anyone looking for a solution to block calls without seeing the incoming call screen, I suggest "Should I answer?" app. It asks you to set it as the default phone app and amazingly blocks every call without any lag whatsoever (no root) and it doesn't launch itself when you click phone or anything like that. This app doesn't work, and the developer isn't really happy with our feedback. I paid for it pretty much with the hope that one day it'll work, but I dunno, 'should I Answer' works for me in the meantime.

Was 5 stars for years. Been my go to Root call blocker for years (Android versions and various phones, Samsung, Motorola, Lenovo) Now on P2XL Android Oreo 8.1, Magisk systemless root. RCB pro hasn't caught up and isn't working. Fresh install cannot init telephony. Fresh install followed by Titanium backup restore data only from old phone allows RCB pro to open but results in LTE constantly dropping. Deinstalled. See others have already contacted Dev. Will check back in three months if RCB still needed.

Doesn't work on nougat. Non-blocked calls don't come through any more. Missed texts. Nothing solves this. Been a great app for many years but no longer
