Works perfectly! Removes exif in "copy" of image and then re-share it to whatever you want. Always good to have originals intact, but send them without exif to someone if needed.

Really useful app! It does exactly what it says it does, and I think (literally) couldn't be any simpler or more straight-forward: share your pic -> select this app, which immediately strips all EXIF data then prompts again for where you'd like to share the "cleaned" image. Files are optionally renamed... Absolutely zero network connections (data collection, advertising, or otherwise) are ever attempted. Search for "scrambled exif pro" to support the dev(s)!

Doesn't work. Not on my Galaxy S24 Ultra or my older S21. Sharing photos to it does reload the share dialog, but files remain unchanged. I know the app requires storage permission, but it never requests it and the permission doesn't appear in the app info page, so there seems to be no way to grant the required permission.

Last week I would gladly have given this app a 5 stars rating but the option to share via Scrambled exif has suddenly disappeared from my phone. I used it happily every day for the past 6 months but any app that vanishes suddenly (especially when no changes whatsoever have been made to my phone or its content) is an absolute stinker. I wish this still worked, it actually was a really useful app and I used it many times a day.

Photos still had metadata. Names not changed. Suspicious "downloading"
message. Possible scam.

Does nothing. Comes up in the 'share' list, you select it, it comes back up in the share list, ad nauseam. Literally does nothing. Gone.
