Look this is amazing. Simple to operate and setup. I already Issues are; Connection to smartphone is friable. Sometimes it takes about 20 attempts and often says that the Bluetooth is low power. However, the firmware was updated this morning, so I hope that helps. Next, focus on moon and Jupiter seems impossible at times. I do not know why. The stacking could be improved. But overall, marvelous and if these things can be fixed it would be 5 stars. Thanks for the lovely product. Ian

It does what it promises. Point to the objects identified and track it. Few small things that can be improved are... 1. For big objects like rosetta Or Andromeda it would be good if manual adjustment of the focus area was allowed currently for both objects got the core in the fov only. 2. Add the functionality of a viewing list. So instead of pointing to one object at a time we could feed a whole list for shooting the whole night. Then we can spend more time on visual astronomy which I missed

So far working flawlessly, looking forward to the mosaic mode, this app and telescope will be perfect then.

Pretty impressive what you can pack into a small box these days. The functionality of my new See star S50 greatly enhanced by this app. I note the continuous improvements (e.g. recent addition of the mosaic function) which bodes well for the future. I'm an old school astronomer who dabbled in astrophotography years ago but gave up due to time and expense. This new "smart" paradigm is a value added entry back into the hobby. Not a toy but, with this app, a serious instrument. Well done ZWO.
★★☆☆☆
So far so good, a few issues. Compass calibration needs work. Missed the sun first 2 goes but 3rd time lucky. M31 went well, will try to enhance a little to see. Agree we need mosaic mode. Need exposure override to get planetary photos. But enjoying after 1 day/night. Will update more as I get to use more. Now got a smudge on sensor by the looks. ZWO site to return is not fit for purpose, can never log in to raise a ticket.
★★☆☆☆
It works, but no mosaic mode, and it struggles to find and connect to my home Wi-Fi in station mode. When asking about mosaic mode see star support just keeps giving excuses. Not bad for a starter scope but can't really accept the excuses made for lack of mosaic mode. Otherwise, make a new see star with a bigger sensor to compete with other brands is needed.
★★☆☆☆
I'm becoming disappointed with the App particularly trying to progress Messier Grand Slam and Solar Collector badges. Images I post are not being recognized. App performance has slowed markedly since I first joined mid-December. I'm starting to realize that I should maintain my own desktop catalog and give up posting. I'll give it another couple of tries and wait a couple of weeks but after that I'll move away from Community participation
