I love this tiny app. Keep tablet active. Have an old tablet, takes forever to boot. So I keep black screen on. It keeps the tablet from sleeping, hibernating. Nice work on this tiny, useful app.

Great for preventing a phone from turning on in your pocket or purse if you use delayed lock screen. Just launch Black Screen and put the phone in your pocket/purse. Yes, the phone could still turn on unintentionally, but with Black Screen nothing happens, and the phone will just time out in your pocket/purse. This app deserves 6 stars.

It didn't blank the whole screen, left all the buttons bright.

You can't launch the black screen without opening the app from the home screen, which means you've exited the app you wanted to keep open. So I don't see the point of this app.

I need an app to keep the screen black while other apps are running. I don't see a reason to use this app if we can't run other apps under the black screen.
