I used Tellurium Mobile for years but bought this for telescope control, but holy moly, this is so much better in just about every way. It provides pictures of almost everything you can search for, it highlights deep space objects in a non-intrusive way which makes locating stuff crazy easy, and it has far more objects turned on by default (whereas it was always a pain getting the right catalog loaded into tellurium). I'm super happy with this, definitely the premier sky finder app.

I have used Sky Safari from the very first version. I recently upgraded my 6 Pro to 7 Pro. When it first came out there were some bugs, so I stayed with 6 Pro for about a year waiting for a more mature version. It is now fine and has some nice enhancements over 6 Pro. I have it on 3 devices so having the family plan lets me install on all devices and once I have them all synched to same account the custom setups automatically keep identical parameters on each device. I controll 3 mounts wireless.

Crashes on startup after the last update on 4 September. The day before I could connect and align (with Star Sense, via Wi-Fi, as usual) my Electron NexStar 8 with no problem. Now, stops every time, when clicking Connect or Connect and Align. Fingers crossed for the next update!

Paid app still requires a subscription. Just install free apps instead. The monthly fee is insane too... These people don't care about the customer. You will never "own" the app.

SW 7 Pro will not connect to my Star Adventurer Pro even though SynScan works fine via Wi-Fi. I have tried IP addresses 192.168.4.1, 192.168.4.2 and 10.0.0.1 along with ports 11880 and 11882. There is no live help option I can and the AI assistant is absolutely useless! I would like a refund as telescope operation is the only reason I upgraded to 7 pro.
