★★★★★ As someone with a mild to moderate hearing loss, I have difficulty modulating my voice volume. Expensive hearing aids only worked if I was actively paying attention. Thus, I was looking to be paying $8k+ for not much benefit. This app is better as the haptic alerts I get when I'm getting too loud work - even when I'm not paying attention. I just wish it had a smartwatch version (using the watch mic & haptics), so I wouldn't have to wear a huge phone around my neck - thus more discreet.

★★★★★ I hope to record what I hear, so others can hear it too. Some call it tinnitus, but sometimes I hear nothing at all. Bit what I hear now is from harassment which has been happening for four years. Like the Havana syndrome.

★★☆☆☆ Irritating ads show up and covers the whole screen for a couple of seconds there by not letting users focus on what the app is showing
