This is for the overall airline. The app is a bit clunky, but workable. The reason I had to knock it a star is because one time I was still 25 mins from flight takeoff, and they JUST started boarding. They DENIDED me my seat because I forgot to check in. That is STEALING. I was well within my rights to take my seat as I had no checked bags. Other than that, it has been a pretty good experience overall. The new "go comfy" seats setup is a really good idea!

This is the worst possible airline to fly with. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will never fly with spirit again. The first time I used them booked direct flight. Returning flight at last minute got canceled until next day. Next time I use them booked a direct flight only for flight to get changed and have 4 hour layover, flying hours out of the way. Picked and paid for seats at booking only to be told I had not picked seats. No value or compensation for inconvenience and extra cost. Terrible customer service!

Title: Affordable but Not Worth It Spirit Airlines may be cheap, but the experience isn’t worth the savings. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and on my return flight, staff forced my bag into the sizer, breaking the shoulder hanger and scratching the leather—even though I had flown with the same bag before without issues. Between poor customer service and lack of care for passengers' belongings, I don’t recommend using Spirit Airlines. The low fares aren’t worth the hassle.

Worst experience ever when purchasing a flight ticket. There was a promotion about applying for a new credit card and being able to use that card to pay for your tickets after approval. They should have figured out that it's not possible when getting a virtual card before the physical card comes in, as you would need the security info on the back. You can't get that info until you receive the card to activate. I had to use one of my own cc to purchase tickets. Never flying with Spirit again.
