Swapfiets is great in speed of service, I only wish their bikes have both front and rear brakes on the handle bars, and not one of the brakes on the handlebar and the other controlled through the pedal... Secondly, I wish they could provide, at least, 24hrs phone service for those engaged in the delivery service, like Uber Eats... But so far they've been wonderful.

I rented an ebike for 3 months while living in Den Bosch. I did many long and short rides with it. Great bike. Helpful staff. There is no store in Den Bosch, but a service vehicle dropped it off, picked it up, and came to do one minor repair. Highly recommended.

The Swapfiets concept is a good one. Yet, with only one shop in Brussels, you often have to wait a week before securing an appointment, leaving you without a bike and no compensation for not being able to use it. But what really did it for me was that I had to pay 720 euros in insurance franchise after my bike was stolen. It was locked and I returned the key. The price is prohibitive. Insurances would never charge that much, especially for a second hand bike in this condition. Feeling ripped off

Used their bike for 6 months (was in use for less than 2 months but couldn't break the contract so fair), then asked for an appointment as I missed last one, I clearly mentioned them give me an appointment of early morning or late evening, somehow they gave me afternoon. I send them email again to request and their reply was sorry and if you don't bring your bike today you'll face fine, like wowww, happy to break with this company forever.

Horrible business. I rent for 6 months and October they put me to pay the 7-month saying is last month and was the sign-up for other 6 months ! Be aware they are liers !
