★★★★★ I like the quality and tone of the journalism here, but the app needs to iron out some snags, like crushing on some saved articles. I got some advice about how to deal with it, but it hasn't solved the issue for good. Nevertheless, I wouldn't give up on the app :)

★★★★★ Unable to log in, although I have a subscription. No help from the Herald. Disappointed. Update - Developer got in touch and managed to sort out access. App a little slow, but no issues now.

★★☆☆☆ App doesn't work on Samsung tablet. Works on Samsung phone but have to uninstall and reinstall every day. Not happy with it at all!

★★☆☆☆ For an organization that is all about communications this app is a disgrace. Too many problems to list, and it is not even possible to find how to send a query to the developers, for example are there interactive puzzles and if so how to find them. Printed newspapers are going out of fashion and if The Herald does not produce a decent app it will go out of business very soon.

★★☆☆☆ No success with the app on Android 8.0.0. My husband is OK on android 7.0.0. No link between the real newspaper and The Herald app. Perhaps not meant to be. Paid for a month but will cancel and find another way to get decent news based in Scotland. The app goes fuzzy as you move the print around so smooth reading impossible. You should base the apps on The Daily Telegraph 2 apps, which functionally works really well, and you can see the link between newspaper and the intraday app.
