There are some very neat features on some of their alarms, like air quality testing. Plus I love that it will text me and others if there is an issue. Plus the 10-year seal battery option is awesome. Mix that with this app that make setup super easy is really nice.

-App logs out after several weeks (2?) without use. -During alarm, app may display 1. Stale location for old uncleared alarms 2. Unknown location when location is known. Interconnected units report "unknown location" and due to race conditions, this may be displayed. -You can't preemptively hush an alarm. -Basic usability: Go to support, then back to dashboard: property button no longer works. In help, you can't enlarge text. +Setup works pretty well.

We get tons of falls alarms (including late at night), but whenever the real smoke appears, Kidde doesn't alarm.

The app itself is fine. It does what it's supposed to. The one star is for the detectors themselves. I burned some food when cooking and filled the house with smoke. There was no fire, but the alarms wouldn't and couldn't be silenced until after all the smoke was cleared out. I hit the silence button on the detector and the app. It kept alarming anyway due to too much smoke. Not OK or helpful when there isn't a real problem. These are going in the trash as I shop around for better ones.

Cannot turn off the freeze detector. When you put in the attic which is cold 6 months of the year. Alarm goes off every 10 minutes, and you have to turn it off every time. Cannot disable this feature. Waste of time.
