I've been a reader of both tbe Philly Inquirer and the DN. The Inquirer gives you a lot of local information and great world news but, what I really love is your sports section. The app provides you with so many articles from the writers I think are great. But there's a section for each team with current news and up to tbe minute articles that are happening that day, you don't have to wait until the next day if you're reading the paper. I still miss opening the paper but, you can't beat this app.

Decent app. Almost great. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: 1. Some notifications are dead links. They open the app, but the article is not found. 2. Swiping through pictures is clunky. Sometimes the app will scroll up and down instead of moving to the next picture. It will also inadvertently click ads instead of going to the next picture. 3. Load time for articles is too long. Sometimes it's upwards of 10 seconds. 4. Clicking a notification results in the app opening with an article not found.

Articles won't load, and the app hangs up when trying to open an article. Almost makes my subscription useless if I can't read on my phone.

Good paper, but the app isn't great. Each of my sports scores are displayed twice on the front page, which also buries the news. When reading articles it's easy to accidentally click on ads, and sometimes you have to wait for the text of an article to pop in between the ads. Not a great reading experience, especially considering how much you pay for the subscription. They should take a lesson from the Washington Post app.

Love the app and the paper. But they force you to call to cancel your subscription. Absolutely scammer behavior. If I can order without calling I should be able to cancel without calling.

Warning: This is a scam! If you subscribe, you cannot unsubscribe, and they will keep taking your money. Do not give the Philadelphia inquirer any payment information, or you will be losing money every month with no way to stop it.
