Was very apprehensive after reading reviews and having to send a rival make back due to connection issues. Pairing and connection to Wi-Fi went without problems. App working fine and the option to connect to a second phone was particularly easy. The receiver seemed slightly too wide to fit to my existing backplate but easily swapped for the one that came with the Tone. It's only been working a couple of days but so far without fault.

Won't stop crashing when you try to set the heating to home, did this last year as well soon as it gets colder outside. What's the point if it won't work

Looks useful but crashes when pairing. Paring with TPONE S it gets as far as choosing Wi-Fi access point to use. Mine shows no signal strength dispute being next to router. Then the app crashes with a null exception. Also see warning about insecure access before choosing Wi-Fi. Pointless feature and expense if cannot use via the app.

Crashing or failing to connect. The app often isn't working, crashing regularly, so I can't set anything and have to go to the thermostat to change settings - which is less user-friendly. If the app isn't crashing, quite often the device fails to connect, even when both my phone and the thermostat are on the same Wi-Fi. When it all works smoothly it's great, it just rarely works well. We also don't have a choice because this is the system our landlord installed.
