★★★★★ Good for browsing and buying, but placing listings for selling is buggy. Half the time the photos taken for a listing are lost, and the auction description doesn't parse text right - things like "&" are expanded into "&".
★★★★★ OK app, don't like the fact that when selling you can't edit the description after someone has placed a bid. It's pointless.
★★★★★ Trade me's website just leads around & around with no way to contact Ping for a refund, so I refuse to use it anymore. Also: Can't see Watchers to review or blacklist before they buy! No email option from buyers anymore but I can send them to buyers. What gives Trade me?
★★★★★ Good app, but please can someone look into my account and when browsing the chickens' category for sale, I open it, and there are no pictures to view, but I can look on any other categories with no issues, and now I have to use the website to look which is frustrating. I've uninstalled twice the app, but the same thing is happening. On app there's no contact details for help as the related issues, as frequently asked questions, do not relate to my issue. Thanks.
★★☆☆☆ Trade me is in a downward spiral!!! The app is getting worse with each update. The search is so bad now that I hardly use the app at all. Put in a specific search in and random items with absolutely nothing to do in any way with the search pop up before the searched items. Drives me insane. Go back to the app you had 2 years ago.
★★☆☆☆ The search function of this app is so ridiculous. You search for a trailer everything with a trailer or trailer parts is in there and you Can't narrow it down to just the trailer you have to go through all the trailer parts or kids tractor and trailer or trailer park boys dvds I just want to look for a trailer not light bulbs for trailers or shackles or tie downs. When I want those I will look for them. Its like you're doing it to advertise those parts. Just give us what we are searching for.
★★☆☆☆ Absolutely rubbish. Automatically adds various payment methods.won't let me add a buy now. Some auctions are listed in some odd half app half web page looking format. Can't add allow offer to all listings. Added shipping to be arranged to my pickup only listing, the problems go on. How is Trade me still a thing?? I'm increasingly using Facebook marketplace, I have more success there, and it's free. The protection that trade me offer is useless anyway, I was scammed out of $600, and they didn't help.
★★☆☆☆ I do not like Trade Me! They just want your money. Do one search in Trade Me, and they keep sending you emails about it, even though you don't want the stuff anymore. Hate it! It has become like Facebook. i.e. pushy.
★★☆☆☆ The Android app is far inferior to the iOS app, it barely functions half the time on Samsung S24 Ultra (doesn't populate page properly, especially watch list, displays wrong images or information) etc. Further, the mandatory push notifications are so invasive and unwelcome now. Constant advertising and junk notifications which you can't configure (it's either all on or all off). This morning I received one telling me X other people have also watch listed something and to "hurry and buy now"...
