Extremely happy I used truecar. Made narrowing down my results alot easier. I was able to buy exactly what I want at the price I wanted and got an excellent deal. Did weeks of research and when truecar says the car is an excellent price, it's an excellent price. Please note: I got the best deal by using my own bank for financing and not the dealership.

Probably the worst app to view new or used cars. You can't just select the type of car, the app forces you to select dealerships to view from, you either build a car or start selecting options you know nothing about. Just makes things more difficult than they have to be. App also won't show you the price of the vehicle you have to switch between, lease, finance or cash options, then loads all over again.

Once you look at a vehicle it resets the search. For instance, we are looking for a truck but are not set on a brand. When I go look at a Chevy, the search changes from all brands to just Chevy. Very frustrating to use.

TrueCar prices quoted by dealers are fake. Basically, bait and switch to bring you in. Truecar has to know this. I know I complained. Dealers tell you that they do not honor these prices. Since (truecar) they get their money from dealers, obviously, you know who is in charge. Once you have entered your personal info, and then you get a massive number of texts, emails, and phone calls from dealers. Will never use or recommend this service again.
