Fun helpful app for learning to identify birds. I would only say that some of the questions are a little easy. For example, you're picking which one is a barn owl from six pictures. In the pictures, two birds are very small, one an obvious swan and one is an owl. I pick the owl and get it right. Hurray! I think it'd be better to have a more challenging mode where you have to pick a barn owl out of six pictures of different owls. Otherwise though, very fun app for a nature beginner.

Great learning tool. I record the bird song whilst out & then use the app to identify the birds. I love it, it is easy to use & the recordings are really clear & lengthy.

Useful when learning bird songs. Ocassional sounds can be hard to hear (example: the bittern) and occasionally you can hear another bird in the backround making it a little confusing at times. For birds with multiple songs and bird with multiple songs and calls are harder to master as only one song / call is played. But apart from that, this is a very useful app that makes you a better birder in a relatively short space of time.

I can no longer save the sounds as ringtones or notifications. It flashes up in red at the top stating UNABLE TO SAVE SOUND it worked perfectly for years but not any longer.

Baffled - I thought I would be able to record birdsong then have the app suggest a match, but I can find no way to do that. No instructions apparent

DOWNLOADED this app three times, & each time it won't work for alarms ringtone etc. , but the African & N American app does work.
