★★★★★ This app is the best app to learn Japanese. Spanish and other language 😊

★★★★★ This is an app to use only after you understand the fundamentals of Japanese. It's great for fluency but will not teach structure or why the sentence is formed this way, etc. still highly recommended!

★★☆☆☆ 1 lesson for free, then you have to pay for pro. Not recommended for serious learners on a budget.

★★☆☆☆ Just randomly put my streak back to zero. I've been doing this with my mother to push her to study English (she uses another app) and it worked so well. We got up to a streak of 195. I missed a day here and there (overall quite many) and my streak was frozen for a day and then kept going. I never missed two days. I missed one last Saturday and my streak was suddenly gone. Seems random / faulty as there is no explanation. Very frustrating please fix it, and I'll happily give you 5 stars

★★☆☆☆ I don't feel comfortable paying a subscription to an app that appears to use generative AI to steal copyrighted clips from the internet for learning. It gets 2 stars for the good idea of using clips with sentence context to learn vocabulary, but it lost 3 stars for the use of AI, the fact that after 3 lessons it's no longer free, and the fact that they probably didn't pay licensing for those clips.
