Used this to connect a remote Nikon D5500 camera via my Motorola mobile telephone across my home wireless LAN to the program Astro Photography Tool (APT) running on my Windows 10 desktop. Worked perfectly and allowed me to execute a sequence of photographs and download them to the desktop just as if the camera was plugged directly into the PC. Only giving it 4 stars at this stage as the program has very little in the way of configuration or status reporting - but it did work very well. Being able to automatically accept connections from approved devices would be very handy.

Works well despite a few stability issues. Used for a Logitech 3D Pro joystick to use with my Oculus Quest 2 to play Steamer games via virtual desktop. Had one blue screen crash after about 2 hours of use. Not bad for something that's open source version .2 beta.

Great app Blue screen of death opening the Config util of the Oculus Rift DK2, no problem with a 32gb Kingston usb stick. Tested using an nvidia shield console
★★☆☆☆
The development seems to have stopped even though the description says "under heavy development" now it is 2021 and last update was 2016. No device I've tested worked, I tested some webcams, usb sticks however my Linux Computer can't connect to it even though the list command shows that a device is connected to the android phone, this is not a client issue since I can connect perfectly fine to an exported device from my laptop, so my guess is that the app is no longer compatible with newer USPIP versions or with the devices I have tested, and I don't think this will ever get fixed.
★★☆☆☆
App description says it is currently undergoing heavy development. However, the last time an update was posted was nearly 5 years ago... The SourceForge project page pretty much admits that it is rapidly becoming abandonware.
