Wannadive - Dive site atlas

★★★★★ The only app I could find that has almost all the dive sites on a map and accessible via gps. So far so good. Not sure if you can do it or not but would be nice to download a map area, so you can access it without service. Happy to pay the $6 for this.

★★☆☆☆ I downloaded free version to check it out after attempting to register with the website. I never received the registration email, so I have still not been able to fully use the site, it keeps telling me that I need to click on the registration email before logging on. Two emails to the developer have gone unanswered. On to the app, horribly distracting flashing banner ads and pop-ups that disrupt your browsing. How about a quick user tour when opening the first time eh? Ok, here is the big reason this is useless. It requires an internet connection to work, and I could find no way to save a portion of the map for later use. Heading to BVI tomorrow and my carrier has no roaming there, so what's the point? 4 days since I emailed the developer asking that particular question and still no response and still no registration email and yes, I checked the spam folder. Back to off-line use. Why is this not detailed in the description? The only way I found out this won't work offline is to turn on airplane mode while using and then it pops up a message that internet is required. This app has huge potential and should be a free trial w/o ads and ability to DL areas.

★★☆☆☆ Lots of ads! Premium content to unlock basic info about dive sites which is the core idea behind the app! Completely useless, although the website provides the info for free!

★★☆☆☆ Paid for full version of app, doesn't have for co-ordinates visible for dives sites so still have to use free website. Slightly easier to use app to navigate but pointless when I still have to use the free website to get all the info.
