A great little app, clearly a lot of work has been injected into it, by someone who understands exactly what photographers need. This app is very convenient, and very accurate (on my device) if you need to appy correction there is a matrix for this. Simple intuitive display. (Nice bonus, it includes a Hue Meter and correction Gel suggestions) Pretty much replaces the need to carry a dedicated meter 🤗.

I haven't yet determined how accurate it is. Some readings seem accurate, some don't. Many are almost exactly 1000K higher than what I'd expected. For now, I give the app 4 stars because I believe it has potential that I haven't figured out yet. Still have yet to calibrate it. I'll update my rating with a little more use, hopefully for better.

Was so helpful I just purchased it. I do echo the other reviews and suggestion to move the same button to more ergonomic location around square window. It would be nice to be able to grab the reading with one hand. But also with your left hand as the save button is on the right. Other than that this came in handy for my shoot. That I instantly bought it when we were done filming.

No mention at all that it's a trial, until a notice comes up that the free trial has expired. How about mentioning this in the about section!

Good luck if you can get this to work. I have the latest Google Pixel 8 pro, which has a good sensor. Clearly you need to calibrate this software. As a professional technical photographer for over 35 years, I have a lot of quality, calibrated lights. I repeatedly calibrated the software to midday daylight, using white paper, then did the same again in studio with both daylight and tungsten lights, with known color balance. At this stage, the calibration should have been bang-on: sadly wildly off.

It always shows a totally wrong color temperature, compared to what camera apps are measuring. Pointing at white paper under 2700K light, it is showing 3600 or 3700.
