Great way to see how strong your home network is in various parts of the house. Takes multiple signal readings and maps them onto your floor plan. Really useful in determining placement of network nodes, repeaters, etc.

I didn't pay for anything. The premium version is now free. Anyway this could save me a lot of time if I was to want to have a heat map, although I can analyze info by other means & display it graphically or numerically with more detail in short time this app is still useful because I can simply show others with the heat map why the router should go where it should. It reads signal quicker than requesting my system to analyze strength. App is light on system storage.

Just what I was looking for. The interface isn't fancy and may take a few minutes to get used to. But it's simple and gets the job done. Best thing is it generates the heat map how I want it, that is a green to red gradient of color to represent decreasing signal strength based on your measurement points. Some other apps take you through complex scale measurements and still show you overlapping circles of a single color.

Didn't work on my Pixel phone. I selected a Wi-Fi channel, took the photo, (which is always upside down and zoomed in after the app processes it) walked around the room, Touched the map at various points Like it says but nothing happens. It never does anything, shows anything and there's no way to finish or exit. The homepage will show the session but if I try to view it, it just goes back to the photo (which has nothing on it) and wants me to add more points which does nothing.

The app is pretty minimal. It does one thing. I used it before, and I'm pretty sure it had colors on the map it produced. Now I only get gray. I see the signal strength at all the points I scanned, but no red, orange, yellow, or green...you know like a heat map.
