This app does it all. Controls all aspects of the wiim device's supported features, and streaming services, equalization, playback, it seems ultra reliable with zero problems so far and is updated often with fixes and feature enhancements.

I've had the Wiim Ultra streamer for about a month. The Wiim app worked great setting up the Ultra. I'm happy with the sound Quality verses using Bluetooth, especially using the Tidal app with the high quality music files.

This app SUUUUUCKS. It's like they made an app, said "it's done", and never looked at it again. No swipe to change songs. In USB, can't manage playlists, can only add single songs onto playlists, if you import premade playlists you can't add to them, must be new. Cant add what we want onto the remote for presets, only limited playlists, artists, songs can be added from Spotify, not a quick preset for USB or Plex. Bluetooth and Chromecast don't show album art, my 7-year-old car stereo does that.

Worked well, but update 16.12.24 broke it. Customer Service asked me to turn it off and on again LOL 😆, what great technical help! So I was surprised and shocked when that 20-year-old method didn't work, before I contacted them.... So home shares[dlna & SMB] won't play the files even though new files and folders are visible and selectable. Yes dlna and smb work for other devices. Pulling the Ethernet and forced reset fixed it, but next update 14-1-25 Broke it again !!!!

Cannot use Tidal as won't allow me to log on. I can only use it if I go into the Tidal app and stream via Bluetooth to Wiim Mini which is no different from streaming direct to my amp so makes the Wiim redundant.
