★★★★★ Amazing app for money transfers as can receive and send in many different currencies, so practical and straightforward to use!

★★★★★ Update Feb 2025. I can load money on from back account again now so increasing rating as it is issue again. Old review:Used to be great. Easy, well priced and quick but recently tightened up on security and made it too hard to transfer money from your bank into your wise account so severely limits its usefulness for me. Transfers out of wise take days to banks now. On top of that fees he has skyrocketed. Both my kids have tried to sign up and had problems and basically tumbleweeds from support.

★★☆☆☆ This worked fine for me at first and was convenient for international transactions. But after I left the account alone for a while, I came back to find their app doesn't work, I couldn't access my money, couldn't activate my card, customer service didn't have the ability to assist me, and when I'd finally had enough, I couldn't even close my account! EDITED TO ADD: I did ALL steps to verify my account repeatedly! I spent 1 1/2 hours with customer service, THEY couldn't help. It's YOUR apps fault!

★★☆☆☆ The app doesn't let me delete the account I made. The app does not let me verify my identity because they have a bug in the compression algorithm used by the in-App camera. Their support is literally hell. They are suggesting the same lvl1 steps over and over again, refusing to read previous meticulously made documentation of errors and responses. It is just horrible. I was NEVER EVER as frustrated as with Wise. Just insane.

★★☆☆☆ Wise charges very high fees for adding funds from my bank account (in euros) to my Wise account—even though it’s the same currency. It also takes a long time to transfer money from the Jar back to the normal account. By comparison, other apps like Trade Republic, N26, and PayPal offer these services instantly and free of charge.
