After seeing the negative reviews for this app, I was hesitant about trying it. Today was my 3rd time using the C1 robot on my 18x36' in ground, sloped bottom, deep end pool. The walls were already clean, and I wanted to try the app this time to switch it to pool floor-only. The app worked perfectly, and then I just dropped the robot into the shallow end while the light was purple (connected to phone). I liked how, in floor mode, it still climbed the sloped walls about 12" to clean most debris.

I was already sold this bot by the company that I contacted to repair my pool before I read the reviews. I received it, went online and dreaded to use it after reading the reviews here. My experience has been great, the app is simple to use, connected immediately through Bluetooth and sequentially through Wi-Fi. The bot cleans well. Setting up app and programming the robot took less than 3 minutes. I don't understand the bad reviews, maybe they fixed the app. I'm on latest Android version.

Can't believe we spent this much for an app and wybot L1 that does not work. In my 70s and manually vacuuming the pool is easier than all this frustration.

Just terrible, possibly the worst app ever for device support and you cannot use the robot without it. Just run a mile!
