My spouse (Jon) and I were parking on 124 street, and he pulled up the epark app and I pulled up zip stall. It was a race to see who could initiate parking first. Hands down, Zip stall won. Jon hadn't used epark in a while, so it had automatically gone into dormant mode or something odd... he was stuck having to reinstall the app while I had already initiated the parking. If you're looking for speed and a solid user experience, download zip stall. It's the one app I leave on my home screen.

Can't scan colored QR codes. Had to take a photo of it with a second phone and then turn it black and white and scan the now black and white photo from that phone into the app on the first phone. Annoying.

Why do I need to make an account to park my car? Literally the worst possible way to design a pay and park app.

The app makes it hard to use the free parking code. We missed our appt because we were trying to figure out how to use the code. Very not user-friendly.

The worst design ever. Colored qr codes everywhere with different colored boarders on the qr code. If you don't fully activate your session you will get locked out of the underground lot. My advice instead of colored qr codes put a symbol or a number in the qr code. And don't have the phone people be such rude people.
